A check of sugar levels in the red blend grapes:

Cabernet Sauvignon 20 Brix
Cabernet Franc 18 Brux

Seeds are still very green some of the fruit has not completely changed color.

Valeria came to help Stanley pick the Petite Syrah. Unfortunately, it had already developed powdery mildew. They left a lot of it in the vineyard.

Added these grapes to the August 2 picking. They were picked in spite of the low sugar because of the beginnings of a powdery mildew infestation. They were very carefully sorted.
